My training techniques will teach your pet obedience by using Positive Training Methods. This type of training builds a positive relationship by using praise and positive actions or rewards. When using this method of dog training, you can use treats, toys, physical affection, verbal praise or a combination of any of those to reward your dog for a correct behavior.

The belief is simple: Dogs learn good behavior by being rewarded for doing well and punishment doesn’t have to come in the form of a harsh reprimand or physical force.

What you need to bring to class:
You need to bring lots of small yummy food treats, a 6 foot leash, and to keep your dog on a flat, buckle collar or a head collar. A head collar is like a halter for horse only it is scaled down to fit on a dog’s head. It is a very humane, safe training tool for dogs that are hyperactive, aggressive or just pull too hard on the leash.
